Not all messages are from people you know and not all electronic communication is harmless. There are often bad things written into the code of electronic messages that can do serious damage to your computer, steal personal information, and spy on you when you are online. The more you know about Spam and Phishing, the safer your personal life and private information will be.
Dangers To Be Aware of Like Spam and Phishing
One of the problems with most e-mail is that you can get spammed. Spam is defined by Wikipedia as:
Email spam, also known as junk email or unsolicited bulk email, is a subset of electronic spam involving nearly identical messages sent to numerous recipients by email. Clicking on links in spam email may send users to phishing web sites or sites that are hosting malware.

Watch this video. It explains spam and phishing. It gives good advice for e-mail users.

Slide 1 should explain or illustrate what spam is.
Slide 2 should explain or illustrate what phishing is.
When you finish, submit your slides or recording to Canvas.
