You watched a video about a teenager in New Zealand who sends more than 20,000 text messages a day. He sends one message every 2 minutes to a girl he likes. In the video he admits to texting from the time he wakes up until he goes to bed. Even when he is at work helping his dad he's texting. Discuss whether you think this teenager has a problem. In this discussion, you can share your own texting habits or talk about the habits of people you know (don't use their names). You can also agree or disagree with the idea that a teenager can be addicted to texting. For the purposes of this discussion - the word addicted means being so involved with one activity (like texting) that it interferes with or prevents a person from doing other important things.
