7-3 Citation

One reason that it's important not to plagiarize is so that you show respect for other people's ideas and work.  One important way to show respect is to give credit when you use other people's work.  One way to give credit is to provide a citation.  A citation includes important information about your source such as author's name, publication name, date, and more.  Citations look different depending on what kind of source you are using, for example, print, web, or other media.  You can use online tools, such as Noodle Tools Express to help you create citations.
