In this lesson you will watch a short video about web-searching strategies.  These strategies will help you to locate the information you need quickly and efficiently.

Billions of pieces of online information from all forms of media - Web sites, books, newspapers, audio and video - are all just a click away. It can seem impossible to sort through it all to find what we need. Successful Internet searching is strategic Internet searching - selecting the best methods and tools to find answers to our questions. Using both the free Web and the invisible Web, you will learn how to focus, strategize, refine and evaluate your research throughout the search process. From formulating a solid query to understanding when and how to best use search engines, meta-search engines, subject directories, portals and subscription databases, access to the world - or, at least, the World Wide Web - is within easy reach.

Watch the following video on "Web Search Strategies."  Write a few sentences about what you learned.
